Privacy Policy
Dawon Labs ("we") handles as little information as possible. Our apps run on your Mac and do not collect analytics or usage statistics.
1. Information processed only on your Mac
- Battery, lid and thermal state, and the names and activity (CPU, network, GPU usage) of running AI tools — used only to decide when to sleep, never sent anywhere.
- If you turn on agent integration, we add a hook to your Claude Code / Codex settings and store task start/finish records in
~/.lidnight. We never read or store your code or conversations. - Settings are stored in macOS preferences; your license key is stored in the macOS Keychain.
2. Information sent off your Mac
- License activation and checks: your license key and device name are sent to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (at activation and roughly every 7 days).
- Phone alerts (optional): only if enabled, short status messages such as "tasks done" or "sleeping soon" are sent to a random ntfy (ntfy.sh) topic. No code, conversations or file contents are sent.
- Purchases: Lemon Squeezy processes payments as the Merchant of Record; your name, email and payment details are governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy. We never receive your card details.
3. Websites
Our websites are hosted on Cloudflare, which may process access logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations. We use no advertising or tracking cookies; only your language choice is stored in your browser.
4. Retention and deletion
Deleting the app and the ~/.lidnight folder removes all local records. To access, correct or delete purchase and license information, email us below.
