Privacy Policy
In short: the app does not collect personal data. Your photos and analysis history stay on your iPhone and are never sent to us. We do not run any server for this app.
This policy applies to the Tailtell iOS app made by dawonlabs (“we”, “us”) (the “App”) and to this website.
1. Information we collect
None. The App has no sign-up or login, and it does not collect or send us your name, email, location, contacts or device identifiers.
2. Photos and analysis
- The App only uses photos you take or choose.
- Detecting cats and dogs and estimating mood and discomfort signs is done entirely on your iPhone using an image recognition model built into the App (based on Google SigLIP 2) and Apple Vision.
- Only if the App’s model can’t be used, the App may fall back to Apple’s Foundation Models built into your iPhone. This also runs on your device.
- Photos and results are not sent over the internet.
3. Information stored on your device
Pet profiles (name and photo) and analysis history (date, results and photos) you create are stored only inside the App on your device.
- Deleting a record or profile in the App removes it from your device.
- Deleting the App removes everything it stored.
- If iCloud Backup or computer backups are turned on, App data may be included in Apple’s device backup. That backup is managed by your Apple Account and we cannot see it.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by the Apple App Store. We never receive your payment method or billing details. The App uses Apple’s StoreKit on your device only to check what you have purchased.
5. Third-party SDKs and tracking
The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
A result share card is sent only when you tap Share and pick a destination. After that, the policy of that app or service applies.
6. Crash reports
If you turn on “Share with App Developers” in iPhone Settings, Apple may provide us with crash and performance data that does not identify you. Apple runs this feature, and you can turn it off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
7. Children
Because the App collects no one’s personal data, it collects no personal data from children either. We encourage children to use the App with a parent or guardian.
8. This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or external fonts. The hosting server may briefly keep standard access logs (such as IP address and time of access).
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. We will also mention significant changes in the App’s update notes.

Questions? Email support@dawonlabs.com. We use the address and contents of an email you send to answer your question. The app never attaches photos or records automatically; please do not send photos containing personal information. You can request deletion of your support email at the same address.
