Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Tailtell iOS app made by dawonlabs (“we”, “us”) (the “App”). Your use of the App is governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); these terms supplement it.
1. What the App is — for reference only
- The App estimates probabilities of a cat’s or dog’s mood and discomfort signs from cues visible in a photo.
- Results are for reference only and do not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment or professional advice. Please consult a veterinarian for decisions about your pet’s health.
- We do not guarantee that results are always accurate.
2. Free and paid use
You can run a limited number of free analyses. For more, you can buy an annual subscription (auto-renewing) or a lifetime purchase (one-time payment). Prices and the free limit are shown in the App and on the App Store and may vary by region and tax.
3. Auto-renewable subscription
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew after purchase in iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- If the price changes, you will be notified in advance under Apple’s policies and asked for consent where required.
4. Refunds and restoring purchases
Apple handles payments and refunds. You can request a refund on Apple’s Report a Problem page. With the same Apple Account, you can use “Restore Purchases” in the App’s Settings on other devices.
5. Your photos and sharing
- The photos and history you use in the App are yours and stay on your device. We do not receive or use them.
- You are responsible for share cards you post elsewhere. Please only use photos you have the right to use.
6. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the App running well, but to the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of App results or for their consequences. Consumer rights that cannot be limited by law are not affected.
7. Changes
If these terms change, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. We will also mention significant changes in the App’s update notes.
